I grew up in a small, rural town in Ohio called Washington Court House, with an expansive corn field as my back yard. I moved to Columbus to attend college, where I lived for ten years. Since moving from Columbus, I have had a somewhat nomadic life, living in Dayton, Ohio; Little Rock, Arkansas; Charlottesville, Virginia; Montgomery, Alabama; Fairhope, Alabama; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Huntersville, North Carolina. I currently live in Hoover, Alabama, with my wife, Ashley; our daughter, Eliza; and our dog, Millie. I enjoy food and travel, preferably at the same time, as well as running, tennis, climbing, hiking, and cooking, which I do for nearly every meal.
